Multiplicity Assignment

The multiplicity assignment was challenging and fun at the same time. It was fun because I thoroughly enjoy taking pictures and using photoshop, but it was challenging because I had to try new techniques and methods I've never used before. I have never done anything related to multipicity so this was a unique and interesting assignment for me. When starting the assignment, I messed up with the masking.

As you can probably tell, I used a "faster" but worse method to start off. It got the general idea of the assignment done, but it was no where near satisfactory. I then used the method taught to us in class, and got a much better result.
The cutouts no longer look choppy and they blend MUCH better with the overall concept.

Form Painting Assignment

This assignment was definitely very challenging for me. I’ve never been too keen on art in general, shading specifically. I feel like as I went through this assignment my performance and understanding of shading and blending grew. I had some trouble with certain shapes, such as the cylinder and cone.
Drawing the initial shapes wasn't too hard, but the shading was the hard part for me.
As you, can see, I need to improve with shading A LOT hahah. Anyway, I enjoyed this assignment, and I'm glad to see myself improve little by little. :)

Logan Cox - Digital Media

My name is Logan Cox, I’m 18 years old, from Richmond, VA. I enjoy making content to entertain people on the internet through youtube and instagram. I enjoyed the first class and I’m excited to be surrounded by other individuals with the same passions as me. I hope to grow these relationships with said people, and use this class as a tool to better myself in the areas we will study. I feel like it will teach me many useful things in relation to my future career in commercial production and video advertising. I’m looking forward to learning many skills in this class and can’t wait to see myself improve, as well as the others around me.
